(Senior) Legal Counsel Marketing & Media

Are you an experienced legal professional with a talent for advising and supporting high-energy marketing and media teams? We are looking for a (Senior) Legal Counsel who specializes in Marketing and Media.

As a global brand, our legal challenges are complex and varied - ideal for legal professionals who are experts in their fields, love to work pro-actively and collaboratively within diverse teams and advise the business across a range of subject matters.

LEGAL COUNSELLING

In this role, youll provide the highest quality legal advice to HQ Marketing & Media Teams across the following key areas: athletes, social media, content creation and exploitation, and brand partnerships. You’ll advise a variety of departments concerning a full range of legal and business issues.

ADVISING ON AGREEMENTS

In this role, you’ll provide proactive, strategic and practical advice and draft, review and finalize agreements with athletes, social media content creators, agencies, service providers, networks and platforms and tech companies, on an international level. Youll also advise on co-development, co-production, and content distribution agreements with TV Networks and Global Streaming Platforms as well as associated talent and production service agreements.

COLLABORATION

We are a lean and focused team and flexible team players who work with other lawyers and staff at all levels and move with the changing demands and priorities of a fast-paced and challenging business. Our team works with a global scope with other international legal teams to determine and operate consistent legal practice on a worldwide, cross-jurisdictional basis.

TRAINING

You’ll provide and continually update trainings and templates to enable and empower your business partners and legal colleagues.

Law degree: if German law degree, 1. And 2. State Exam (“Volljurist”); at least one with excellence “Prädikat”, in Austria attorney at law exam, in UK qualified & practicing Solicitor of England and Wales Degree level education – minimum 2:1 or equivalent at top tier university.

Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualified experience, including 2 years practicing solely with a marketing or media focus within a top trier law firm or inhouse, preferably in or with a large global corporation.

Excellent knowledge of English, and German language is an advantage but not essential.

Very good legal drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.

Solution-orientated and pragmatic, Team player. passionate and calm under pressure.

Ability to work effectively with business and creative personnel.

Strong interest in Red Bull’s content and marketing activities

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,392 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
