Boing Austria GMBH is seeking Customer Solutions Manager - Military Aviation to join our team in Austria.

You will report directly to Boeing manager but at the same time be part of a ForeFlight Team.

Our Customer Solutions team is essential in delivering innovative solutions and exceptional support to our aviation-focused customers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Customer Solutions Manager to lead our technical pre-sales and customer success functions. This player-coach role involves building and growing a team of sales engineers and customer success representatives, while also being hands-on in implementing practices and driving customer engagement and satisfaction.

The role offers flexible working options, including remote working opportunity. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has a robust technical background, ideally with experience in managing and growing sales engineering and customer success teams in a technology-driven environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for military aviation, aviation in general, and has deep practical knowledge of our products.
  • Possesses a tenacious, go-getter attitude with the ability to inspire, lead, and drive teams towards achieving business and customer-centric goals.
  • Is skilled in setting procedures, creating best practices, and ensuring their adoption across teams to enhance overall customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Can recruit, train, and retain top talent in both sales engineering and customer success disciplines.
  • Embraces a proactive and strategic approach to customer engagement, with a keen focus on building long-term relationships and ensuring customer loyalty and retention.
  • Fluency in English (writing and speaking).

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and leading both the sales engineering and customer success teams, fostering a synergistic environment that aligns with our strategic goals.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for technical pre-sales and customer success to enhance customer satisfaction and maximize lifetime value.
  • Collaborating with product management and engineering teams to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development and innovation processes.
  • Driving the adoption of best practices in customer engagement and technical sales support, ensuring that our teams are knowledgeable and effective.
  • Establishing metrics and KPIs to measure team performance and customer satisfaction, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet business objectives.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles within technology or aviation-related industries.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, growing environment.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
